AlcoholEdu
AlcoholEdu for High School is an online alcohol prevention course geared toward students ages 13 and above. It is proven to decrease underage drinking, acceptance of underage drinking, and riding with a drunk driver. It’s also aligned with Oklahoma’s Priority Academic Student Skills.
Developed by EverFi (a Massachusetts-based company that combats public health issues in educational, corporate, and government institutions), AlcoholEdu is provided to Oklahoma schools gratis, courtesy of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. The course can be taken during or outside of class time, and the entire experience takes only two hours.

Wichita Mountains Prevention Network (WMPN) periodically promotes AlcoholEdu to superintendents, principals, and counselors in Carter, Comanche, Garvin, Jefferson, and Stephen counties.
