Responsible Beverage Service
and Sales Training
Responsible Beverage Service and Sales (RBSS) training provides clerks, servers, and managers with the knowledge and skills to sell and serve alcoholic beverages safely, responsibly, and legally. The goal of this training is to ensure that expectations, liabilities, and legal responsibilities are communicated to all licensees and their employees.
According to Oklahoma's new alcohol laws, individuals who have applied for an alcohol license after October 1, 2018, must attend Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement (ABLE) approved training.
Regional Prevention Coordinators, like Wichita Mountains Prevention Network (WMPN), that are funded by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), already have a state-approved RBSS training that will meet the ABLE License training requirement. We collaborate with ABLE to present this training.
To set up an RBSS training, please contact your local Regional Prevention Coordinator to reserve a time. You can also check our upcoming events to find a training near you.
