Winners:  Each contest will have one 1st place winner per county (6 first place winners total)

Create your own Red Ribbon Week slogan and theme poster


OPEN TO
- Any middle school student living in Comanche, Stephens, and Jefferson Counties


PRIZES
- $50 Visa Gift Card to each 1st place winner in Comanche, Stephens, and Jefferson Counties (1
winner per county).
- Winner and Honorable Mentions will be displayed in their county.


ARTISTIC PARAMETERS
• Please do not print your name on your poster
• Markers, Pencils, Colored Pencils, and Pens may be used.
• Digital media will also be accepted.
• Prepared Lettering within the artwork is accepted but should be minimal.
• The slogan should be brief, yet catchy
• Should not contain any copyrighted, syndicated, clipart images, scanned, or reproduced photos
or artwork.
• Should not contain content that could be perceived as offensive, such as nudity or profanity.
• All entries will be forwarded to National Family Partnership for entry into the 2023 National
Red Ribbon Week Theme contest, with a chance to win $500 in Red Ribbon Week merchandise
for 2023.


SUBMISSION DETAILS
Please attach entry form to your submission. Submissions may be dropped off at your school office or
scanned and emailed to croughface@wmpn.org. Submissions turned in at school will be picked up for
judging and returned to the artist after Red Ribbon Week (October 23-31, 2022).


SUBMISSION DEADLINE: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18th, 2022


SELECTION: Entries will be judged on adherence to the theme, creativity, and originality by a panel of
judges.

OPEN TO:
-Any high school student living in Comanche, Stephens, and Jefferson Counties

-Winner and Honorable Mentions will be printed in their county.


ESSAY PARAMETERS
• Please DO NOT write your name on your essay
• Print the title of essay on both your entry and the entry form
• Essays must be 300 – 600 words
• Essay should be typed and double spaced
• Please use either Times New Roman or Arial 12pt font
• Your submission must be an original essay
• Should not contain content that could be perceived as offensive, such as profanity.
